About Tobie McDonnell

If loving what you do for a living is wrong, then I don't want to be right. My name is Tobie McDonnell and I love everything about real estate. I am Montana native and as a 30+ year Helena resident, I have a vast knowledge of our local market. I have been an agent for nearly a decade and in 2018 I opened my own brokerage, NorthStar Real Estate, to further service the Helena area. The most valuable lesson I learned early-on in my career was, "Salespeople do not have to be rude, obnoxious, or pushy." Let's make this clear, I work for you, not the other way around. I understand what is important to my clients. I can help position you as a preferred buyer or help you with staging advice and up-to-date local market information, so you get top dollar for your listing. Being on top of today's technology is key for success in real estate. I can provide you with local trending data about what is selling in your area or where you'd like to move. Whether you are a first-time buyer, looking for an investment property, or anywhere in between, I have the experience necessary to help you negotiate and achieve your real estate goals. Like I said before, if loving what you do for a living is wrong, then I don't want to be right. I LOVE what I do. I help buyers and sellers connect and work hard to ensure everyone is not just satisfied, but happy, too. I am proud to be an instrumental part of the Helena real estate market and am excited for the opportunity to show you what sets us apart at NorthStar Real Estate!
